Markus Kochs-Kämper joins VÆRIDION as VP Engineering

VÆRIDION, a Munich based company that is accelerating the green transformation of aviation with an electric regional 9-seater aircraft that will be certified and delivered before 2030, announced today that Markus Kochs-Kämper, currently Head of Design Organization and former Chief Engineer at Heart Aerospace, will join VÆRIDION as VP Engineering on December 1st, 2023.

As a member of the management team, Markus will be responsible for the development strategy of the battery electric Microliner. He will also be responsible for building up our engineering organization for the next development stage towards the preliminary design milestone (PDR).

Markus has a 20-year track record of leading international and multifunctional teams for both Part 23 and Part 25 Design Organizations. His expertise lies predominantly in the fields of certification and systems engineering – currently acting as Head of Design Organization and Head of Engineering at Heart Aerospace and previously at Deutsche Aircraft. Within his current role as Head of Design Organization, Markus has the responsibility for the engineering, flight test, airworthiness & certification, and the independent system monitoring functions. Kochs-Kämper is highly regarded in the industry for his leadership and passion to deliver outstanding value across the entire aircraft development program.
