Thorsten Luft joins VÆRIDION as Executive Advisor
VÆRIDION, a Munich based company that is accelerating the green transformation of aviation with an electric regional 9-seater aircraft that will be certified and delivered before 2030, announced today that Thorsten Luft, former Vice President Corporate Fuel Management at Lufthansa Group, will join VÆRIDION as Executive Advisor with an immediate effect.
This strategic appointment marks a pivotal step in the company’s ongoing mission to build a robust and scalable ecosystem for Microliner’s ground operations, ensuring the company’s core values of sustainability, customer-centricity, and innovation remain at the forefront of its growth efforts.
With decades of experience in aviation industry, Thorsten brings a wealth of knowledge in scaling operations, streamlining processes, and fostering strategic partnerships. At Lufthansa Group, Thorsten was responsible for daily refueling of 900 aircraft of the network carriers Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Eurowings and other airlines in the group at over 500 airports worldwide. Prior to Lufhansa Group, Thorsten spent over 20 years at Air bp, last role as Performance Unit Manager North and Central Europe.
